Maryland & Virginia people - help please!
Hey guys!
I'm hoping that some of you will be able to help me or at least point me in the right direction. My friend's band (www.myspace.com/farfromdistant - if you wanna check them out!) is looking to book themselves a small, east coast tour for this summer. Unfortunately, they're having trouble booking the Maryland and Virgina areas. Mainly, they are looking for places to play that are small, low-scale, club type venues. I would really appreciate it if you guys could point me in the direction of some venues or tell me someone I could get in touch with, since we're from Massachusetts we don't really know the area too well. Thank you for any help you can give me!

Try these local venues:
The 930 Club in DC
The Black Cat in DC
The Otto Bar - Baltimore City
The Recher - Baltimore County
The Sonar - Baltimore City
Sharkeys - Annapolis, Maryland
There are a lot of smaller clubs in the Baltimore area and the DC area as well. You should go on-line and look up these clubs and find out how to book a show with them. :) Good luck to the band! :)

there is a place in Bel Air MD called Looney's Pub and another place in Baltimore MD called Rams Head
