Good Charlotte

Is it just me... or does it seem like US hates GC?

There are like 0 GC fans in my area... and it just seems like Good Charlotte is more popular in every other country in the world...just not US... :(

my opion: punk style is going out =(. and people arnt into baggy black cloths like in 2003, 2004 or 2005 most people are now into into skinny leg jeans and tight colour shirts and thats wat there music wants to be like, jumpy fashinable music.
Im not saying that people dont dress and dont like songs that are not in the top 50 anymore. Take a look at say "young and the hopeless" video clip and then look at what the NEW bands are wearing people copy other bands style of dress.
People have just lightened up alot, not so tough, i guess is what i am trying to say.i hope this makes sence to somebody.(I yapped on about clothing but its a big deal 4 music.) thx.

bull shit. Punk is fashion all the time people just simply wear what is popular always faking it. in my country that kind of people always get beat up, especially those guys and girls that call themselves emo with their hair on their favce covering their eye all the time and pants that are extremely tight that their own balls don't fit in their if they have any. I'm pretty sure they don't know whats eno anyways.

I see the same the thing here, for the first few days of school, I went around asking everyone if they like good charlotte, and nobody said yes. They all said- "who are they? I never heard of them!"
Some good music seriously needs to come here, not this Miley cryus crap.

I can't believe no one at your school knew who they were. How weird.

Yes, this is true. GC is loved in other countries more. Weird...but I guess people are more open to pop rock bands in other countries than in America. :/

I'm from America btw, and I always hear people hating on GC.

yeah, it totally pisses me off. I always stick up for them.

Yes, it seems as though people in America that like punk rock only like bands that are considered the OG's of Punk rock. Like the sex pistols or the Ramones. No one in america has an appreciation for bands that take from that style of music and make it their own like GC did.

They see the way Good Charlotte dressed and the music they played and automatically called them posers for it. Who ever said you had to dress a certain way to like a genre of music?

It's really stupid and ignorant. I also stick up for them.

That's too funny because I love the Sex Pistols and the Ramones. I actually got to see the Ramones in concert a couple of times. That doesn't stop me from loving Good Charlotte. I think too many people want to keep up an image among their friends or whatever.

Yeah, I like those bands too..and Good Charlotte. I agree, it's all about image and looking "cool". Even though, I fail to see who exactly people are trying to impress...lol. Music is music.
