Is it just me... or does it seem like US hates GC?

There are like 0 GC fans in my area... and it just seems like Good Charlotte is more popular in every other country in the world...just not US... :(

they aren't as popular as they use to be in the states, that's for sure. but i work at this cafe place and two kids that i work with both went OMG I LOVE THEM THEY ARE SO GOOD when i wore a gc shirt the other day and i was like "...........seriously?" ahahah.

you never know i guess.
It's because the US moved on. Pop punk isn't the big juggernaut it once was.

There are still fans obviously, but not as many as there were.

I wouldn't say that the US hates them, though. For a brief moment, everybody loved them. People here just have many different genres thrown at them, and something's hot only for a short period of time.

Shame that the fans that are still here had to wait for a proper tour for the past 2-3 years. That's the price we pay. There's more money overseas and beyond.
I agree. There are so many different artists coming out all the time and kids are so worried about being hip or cool or whatever you want to call it these days, they just follow the musical trends like sheep!!!! My daughter's friend has had like 20 all time favorite bands since GC first came out. She used to worship the ground they walked on. Now she could care less and says they are sellouts etc. I told her she had better not ever get married because she is the most fickle person I've ever seen.
I think the USA is stupid for its lack of promoting GC. I agree with you! I would love to see a lot more promoting in the USA.
Kids seem to head right for the cool, hip bands and a lot seem to follow the trends like sheep! :) I love the kids who give GC a chance and actually listen to all music instead of the more trendy stuff and who don't let others dictate what music they should be listening to.
My husband did run into a girl working at a little store here in back woods Vermont not too long ago. He said she had black hair and facial piercings. We had just been down to Atlantic City for that show and he said to her 'I bet you would have liked to have been my wife last week. She just went and saw Good Charlotte!!' He said the girl's eyes lit up and she was like, "OMG!! I love Good Charlotte!!"

Imagine that.
I know this is off topic but your photo made me crack up. I've never seen that one before.
It think it was taken during that Elizabeth Glasier Aids event that Joel and Nicole attended last week. There were several pics of them and Barney!! I cracked up too!!
I remember when i first fell in love with GC my mom was like... oh i bet you'll like them for a week... it's been five years lol... i like to bring that up to her every once in a while!
Yeah! GC love is AWESOME! :)
Once you fall in love with GC it takes a long time to fall back out of love..if ever. :) Does your mom like them?
i dont see anything wrong with bands who want to excell !!, punk bands will always get slated for selling out ! green day was one ,but have produced the best songs in there band recently The bullit in the bible tour here in the uk .. i dont believe they will ever forget there roots .G/C will be the same making money playing abroad ,because they are international stars not just a local punk band..They are true artists in evey way !!!!!!!!! rock on g/c keep up the good work .
