To me they aren't really role models, since I'm older than they are, but they are an inspiration. I admire both Joel and Benji, but Benji is my true guru! I think I was more like Benji when I was younger, but I allowed society, rules and adult responsibility to change me on the outside, so I continue to feel like a square peg in a round holed world. I admire their tenacity, and their ability to remain true to themselves. They don't allow what other's say or think to carry too much weight in their decisions in life. I've seen them mature and grow over the last several years, and I for one am proud of the men they have become. Also, I respect the heck out of them for their willingness to continue with the close contact and commitment to their fans. Even though the sudden celebrity status scared the crap out of them to begin with, they aren't afraid to run with it, and to remember the ones that helped put them there. WAY TO GO GUYS! In addition, they go out of their way to try and be good role models for their teen fans. They aren't perfect, they don't claim to be, but they always seem to keep in mind that millions of teens are watching and imitating them.
