soundtrack of your summer tour.

so, most dates are already on sale and lots of people have already bought their tickets. what shows are y'all going to? i want to meet some new kids while i meet up with my usual gc buddies haha.

i'm going to :

july 18th, 2008 - anaheim, CA @ the grove.
july 19th, 2008 - los angeles, CA @ the wiltern.
july 20th, 2008 - san diego, CA @ concerts in the park.
august 3rd, 2008- richmond, VA @ 18th street - shockoe bottom.
august 12th, 2008 - new york, NY @ roseland ballroom.
august 15th, 2008 - lowell, MA @ tsongas arena.
august 17th, 2008 - poughkeepsie, NY @ mid hudson civic center.
august 20th, 2008 - philadelphia, PA @ festival pier @ penn’s landing.
august 21st, 2008 - jackson, NJ @ north star arena @ six flags NJ.
august 22nd, 2008 - providence, RI @ lupos.

i'm trying to convince my mom to let my\e drive up to ohio for the two shows up there, but so far, no dice, considering california was enough of a struggle. WHOS EXCITED?! hahaha.

oh, and any of you guys who live in the los angeles or surrounding area, can you gimme some good spots to look around at? i am of course going to be a complete tourist while i am out there because i've never been to california before. i'm definitely checking out the DCMA store!

the question is how are you paying for college. usually people work during their time in college so that they can eventually pay off their student loans not to go on trips to see a band. Where do people like you get all this money? I'm with you on the gas money. it's crap. I can hardly afford to drive forty-five minutes away to see GC.

woah. thanks for making me sound like some spoiled brat. i work A LOT. and i save A LOT. my mom worked her ass off as a single mother for 15 something years putting away money for me for college so that i would only have to pay back one loan. but some stuff has happened recently that might change that. i only have one loan in my name that has no interest and it's only $3,000 a year. of course i plan on paying way more for my mom. my college education right now because of our family situation is on a damn credit card and my mom paid for my first year through her retirement fund and my fathers life insurance that she invested, because my school is like $40,000 a year. it's wicked expensive. all this summer up to now i've been doing 40+ hours a week at a cafe and it's all under the table so i don't get any taxes taken out of my pay.

but yes, thank you for making me sound like some random rich kid. i appreciate it. what the f***, dude.

wasn't trying to make you sound like a spoiled brat. I'm sorry. I was wondering if you had scholarships. i wasn't making any assumptions. and trust me i ain't spoiled either. i had to work my ass off in school to get a freakin' scholarship or I wouldn't be going to college at all. And I've been working as much as possible to be able to afford what the scholarship doesn't cover. My parents are kinda helping me with college exspenses and I still can't afford to go to that many shows.

i have an academic achievement scholarship that is $5,000 a year, but that's it. i get some financial aid but not much.

i get really angry about things like that, sorry for freaking out on you. my mom works really hard, i work really hard, and i get mad when people just assume things you know?

I only went to one which was the Denver show.

If I could I would of done Utah but couldn't afford it and didn't want to go alone and have no friends that like GC or should I say have no friend's at all LMAO!

But the GC show here in Denver was a lot of fun, can't wait for another!! *sighs*

yeah i get a lot of assumptions thrown at me.

I can't even get financial aid. I fall in between having just enough family income to not qualify for financial and having not enough money to not need some financial aid.

oohh my gawd!! lol your touring with them! going seperate sides of the USA pretty much following them around? this is pretty funny. but omg it sounds superrrr fun!! that is a lot of dates. how are your seats?? and omg gas.... how are u pulling that one off??! lol. gas prices are crazyyy!!
im going to the augest 12th show... roseland ballroom.
my 1st GC concert. omg i cant wait. im planning on going on line at about 12 noon. id like to get a good spot. how do u think that will get me in the arena?? because yeeahh, that is standing only.. general admission... 1st come 1st serve.
soo if im going on line at noon the guys should pretty much walk right pass us to enter the venue. i would die to meet them, but i dont wanna lose my place in the line.........lol
