Why do you like GC?

It seems like a pretty self explanitory question.

1st: they were the first band i really got into
2nd: they kick ass
3rd: their music saved my life
4th: the guys seems to be amazing ppl(dunno cuz i've never met them)
5th: their lyrics are very inspirational for me, they talk about things that sometimes can't fit in your life, real situations so it's amazin how some songs really take place in ppls hearts
6th: i fell in love with benj since the very first time i saw him(on The Young and Hopeless Life of Good Charlotte(bonus for the computer of TYATH) so cute n_n
7th: as tony said:: cuz i want, i can and it's free

I'm so, so, so glad that no one answered this question with "because they're sooooo haaawwwwt." I asked this question in a forum on another site, and that's basically the only answer I got. And I guess since I asked the question I should answer it to eh?
I like them because at the time they were like no band I had ever heard before. Their music has helped me understand a lot of what's gone on in my life. It helped me deal with my father leaving. Their lyrics say more than, "Shawty is a hawtay" or "We're so poooonnnnxxxx", they actually seem to have some kind of meaning behind them. And they're really nice guys. At least they were when I met them.

their music has got me through the really tough times when i've really felt like i can't go on and that there's nothing for me in this world. i can't explain how much they mean to me. their albums will always be the ones i reach for when i need help but i'm too afraid to ask somebody for it.

1.They write their songs themselves(that is really important 4 me!)2.And their songs are really catchy
3...and they have great lyrics
4...and they have a variety of melodies 4 every mood
5...and they are good people, you can just tell
6.almost forgot, they love their fans!

To cut long story short:
For a long time they were the friend I never had, even though I'd never met them. They taught me many things over the years: I'm not alone; to be myself; not to take anyone else's crap; life is what you make it. If it weren't for them, I'd be pushing up daisies by now.
