after hearing GC what did they inspire in you?

so who in the band GC inspired you.what where you Inspired by.and what was it that got inspired.and when did you first hear them?was it live or on the radio or from a friends cd player?
but anyway,
for me that would be my music(play's bass guitar and piano)and i would have 2 say the whole band is something that inspire's me 2 improve myself so much.and i first heard them live at Sun Fest,west palm beach florida.this year of course

Well when I first listened to Good Charlotte I didn't know how to deal with my parents divorce. Listening to them made me realize that I wasn't alone and that I could get through it alright.

The first time I heard them was on RadioDisney! I was just surfing trhough the AM on the radio when I heard their song I Don't Wanna Be in Love (Dance Floor Anthem) I listenend all the way and at the end the dj from radio disney said it was radio disney. Only that the guy didn't even say the name of the band. So I forgot about them. Later on I found their LIVE dvd of Brixton Academy at this garage sale and when I finally saw it, Benji spoke to me with the song Emotionless. Even though it was Joel singing it.
