after hearing GC what did they inspire in you?
so who in the band GC inspired you.what where you Inspired by.and what was it that got inspired.and when did you first hear them?was it live or on the radio or from a friends cd player?
but anyway,
for me that would be my music(play's bass guitar and piano)and i would have 2 say the whole band is something that inspire's me 2 improve myself so much.and i first heard them live at Sun Fest,west palm beach florida.this year of course

i'm glade that there music had such an impact on you.and i'm glade you dident shot your self in the head 2.
i wont pretend 2 know what you went through but i know a little of how hard life can get but i dont like 2 complain.but i wish i found this band earlyer in my life it would of had an even bigger inpact in my life than they all ready do.but hey i'm glade that there is a band out there that's music has such an impact on individuals they should be proud of what they have done.and i know they know it because there singer said so on stage in FL at Sun Fest...i still dont know who plays what and i'v bought in 1 day of hearing them 3 albums and i'm way 2 broke 2 go around buying stuff lol.but its worth it i think.got 2 ask though Becca how long have you known this band and when was the first time you heard them?

I heard them when Little Things came out, I'm not sure if they released it in 2000 when the record dropped or later in 2001. Dates fly out of my head.
I didn't really have access to music at the time so I couldn't check out their album. I ended up missing their set in 2001 when they played a shitty venue in my hometown.
Then early 2002 they played a festival that I went to. At first I was resistant because I had cred to uphold (punk rock to an 18 year old kid was pretty important). But when I got home, I went on a rampage and started watching All Things Rock on MTV thinking that they may play some GC videos. Which they never really did...
So I finally got access to a computer in the summer of 2002 I streamed their acoustics on the original GC.COM. Then tore up the town until I found their CD at Circuit City at 10AM one sleepless summer day.
Fell asleep in the car when my parents were dragging me to the coast. Woke up staring at the sea and still listening to Good Charlotte. It's been love, even through the hatred that spawn in late 2004; ever since.
My GC tale seems to get longer as the years go on.

lol yeah i get away with it.because i play bass guitar and my music is important and my friends know that so anything i listen 2 is normaly because i love the bass in it or the piano.so they cant say anything.and even if they do i can shut them up with how so and so play's compared 2 so and so.but i never really got in 2 the punk seen.just cant really do anything good with bass in it simple as that.and 2 me good music is good music.so i try not 2 judge and look at genra's.
but yeah thats a funny store got 2 say.and i would have 2 say no story truely ends it just gets pick'd up and drop'd ever now and then.

Paul was very inspiring. At this meet and greet, I told him about my old guitar that was in my closet and he said to get it out and start playing it. I went home that evening and got my guitar out and started playing it again. Then I went out and bought myself the Benji Madden guitar and I'm going to take lessons soon. GC inspires me every day to try and do something for myself and they keep me young in my thinking. They also inspire me to sing with them. I love harmonizing with Joel Madden. I don't think I'm too shabby either! ;)

well, like you, everyone in the band has inspired me in so many ways. They have inspired me to play music...i want to play drums and play to the beat of GC 8D

All of GC has inspired me in some way or another. Paul inspired me to work harder at bass. Billy inspired me to work harder on my drawing. Joel and Benji gave me the extra push I needed to get over certain things in my past, that no matter how bad you have it, you can always rise above it and make something of yourseld. I don't really know anything about Deano, so he's yet to inspire me. And Benji is the main reason I got my first piercing and started dying my hair. Because before him, I hadn't ever seen anyone with colored hair, and not many people had piercings. And I first heard them when I was about ... 9years old, on the radio.
