He probably just took them out because he didn't like them anymore. I used to have snake bites and my monroe. I eventually took them all out except for one lip ring.

The centre piercing was taken out for causing discomfort, whereas he took the others out when he was with Sophie, not Paris.
He maybe fancied a change. He still looks great anyway
