who thinks the fanclub sucks?

im talking about the one where u pay this money out, dont receive ur gifts for months on end, and theres totally nothing to do on it!!! u dont get updates or anything. it sucks! u get more on here than u do on the fanclub which totally sucks!!!
anyone agree?

yeah it does, its gone downhill ever since 2005 imo. i think rather then have a fanclub thats rubbish they just shouldn't bother with having it at all!

It's always been s***.

The only thing it's good for was meet and greets but even with those you needed tremendous amounts of luck.

Hence why I didn't join!

When it first opened, you got a fanclub package. Well, I never got mine and when I pestered them about it, they gave me one and let me tell you, the s*** looked like it was run over by a bus.

NOT COOL GC AFTER I SPEND HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS TO SEE YOU. >:[

i joined the very first day and still regret it actually wasting money for 3 yrs on that thinking it would be worth it..i did get the stuff tho.. but hell cant tell ya where that s*** is.. but it was fun at first but theres no point in paying money for basically a msg board!

I have been a member since the fanclub started and I did receive my packages. I also won concert tickets and meet & greet passes.

Personally I don't think that anyone should have to pay for being in a fan club. This goes for all bands not just GC, after all the fans help build their careers, buy buying their cd's etc. The fans buy their merchandise and buy tickets to see them play. So I think it's wrong to ask them to pay to be a fan as well!

yeah TBH with the internet i dont see a reason to have fanclubs anymore, other then to make extra ££.

in the past before the internet, fanclubs were a good way of keeping informed about the band and getting in touch with fellow fans, but now everyone can do that on the internet anyway.

Me too. I can understand the frustration of others though. Its like a ghosttown over there right now! I haven't been on there a whole lot. But I am still a member and will continue as long as the fanclub stays up. :)

I'm happy I joined because the t shirt amused me. I got my package really quickly too...so I don't know if they straightened up recently or what. Hmmm.
